The “Before” Office Studio

We are happy to announce that Grape Sally will have an office and showroom soon! Currently, we are working out of our houses and felt the need to expand to an actual space. It will allow us to host small events and meet ups, as well as providing a place for meetings and other office-y things (who wants to be my first fax?!?) This is an exciting transition for the company and we wanted to share the whole experience with you.

The office/showroom/studio (which will be referred to as “the studio” from here on out) was in need of some light remodeling and redecorating. Lucky I remembered to snap some “before” pictures of the process:

As you can see, we have been rolling up our sleeves and having a paint party **not to be confused with an actual party. Purple was obviously our first choice for wall color and the couple of photos we have taken off the wall have really popped! We want the place to be bright and vibrant so we chose a kiwi green for the second color. Extra cool thing we didn’t know about our green is… “Lime green inspires youthfulness, naivety and playfulness; it is liked the most by younger people. It creates a feeling of anticipation, and helps to clear the mind of negativity.” Perfect.

Since it will be, among many other things, a photo studio where we can take pictures of products and models, it was important that we would be able to keep it open and clean. We are going for a “breath of fresh air” but don’t breathe too hard at the moment, it is paint that you are smelling 🙂

There is no furniture at the moment, because why… However, we have been checking out local furniture stores in search for things I won’t mention now as I want it to be a surprise, but I’m sure you can guess if I gave you 5 chances.

Stay tuned for more progress pics, I’ll keep y’all updated!
